🔗 Share this article Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Your Second Season Predictions — With Some Good News The much-anticipated Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on Prime Video soon, and fan speculation has been rampant. The first season introduces a diverse group of characters residing in the afterlife, pits them against each other with songs detailing their conflicts, and builds tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive audience devotion. The fandom's stated hopes for season 2 differ greatly, but certain themes recur frequently: Will a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together? "Obviously, I don't produce the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the showrunner commented recently. "However I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!" The creator says her long-term vision is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have received approval by Prime Video and A24, which produce the series. That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they may be surprised at how fast the new season progresses, and how many of what they're anticipating unfolds this season. "I believe people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some really amazing disclosures, some fascinating origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the previously silent cast members." The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about season 2 — especially in the form of fan bingo cards. "I've come across a couple people create a prediction grid about season 2," she says. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy." Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on October 29.
